These fluffy and mildly spiced fritters always go down well when served as part of an Indian-style sharing platter (with the Baked Pea and Paneer Samosas) or as a starter before a curry, such as Mango and Coconut Chicken or Tikka Traybake. However, because they are so straightforward to make, they’re also really nice served with a tomato, cucumber, onion and coriander salad for lunch. <
