This is a good recipe for your children to help with. They’ll love doing the messy bits of coating the chicken in the crumbs. Set up a production line of flour, egg and crumbs to dip into and the job’s a doddle. Once coated, the schnitzels can sit in the fridge for a few hours or can be frozen and defrosted before cooking.
I urge you to use the dried panko breadcrumbs if you can as they will give you a crisp end result with juicier chicken inside.
