An alternative to the usual flour naan bread, these brilliant breads use mashed potato and gram (chickpea) flour, both of which are gluten-free and suitable for vegans. They’re delicious served warm with your favourite curry dishes to mop up any sauce.
For a lighter textured naan, it’s best to go for a floury potato such as Désirée, Maris Piper or King Edward.
