The number of times I have bought breadsticks for a pre-dinner nibble or snack for the kids is ludicrous, but I had never thought about making my own up until writing this book. I played around with a few ideas for traditional flour ones and gluten-free versions and decided that the gluten-free ones were the best to feature as the main recipe as they are just so good. They are easy to make and last for days once made.
