Anzac biscuits played a big part in my childhood, as whenever we went to visit my Nana, which was pretty much every week, she would always have a batch on the go. It was a recipe she could quickly throw together with basic everyday ingredients without any fussing about. Occasionally, she’d add in some sultanas or raisins, other times an additional spice.
