These versatile biscuits can be made as per the main recipe or easily swapped to be vegan, gluten-free, chocolate or lemon flavoured or piped into different shapes. They are fun to make especially if you have an occasion to bake for whether it’s a birthday, valentines or simply to say ‘I love you’. I like to finish them off drizzled with chocolate, but a lemon or orange glacé icing would be just as good, should you prefer.
