This one needs no real introduction. It is just I feel that in keeping with the great Aussie tradition, I ought to put in the odd barbecue dish.
Wash and pat dry the chicken pieces. Mix together the marinade ingredients in a large bowl (not aluminium) and add the chicken, making sure that all the pieces are nicely coated. Leave to marinate for about 2 hours.
Lift out the chicken and barbecue or grill for about 15–20 minutes, turning regularly. Serve with plain, boiled rice, a salad, and warm pitta bread,
