Ingredients

  • 75 ml/3 fl oz vegetable oil
  • 75 ml/3 f

Method

  1. Heat the vegetable and sesame oils to smoking point in a small pan, then turn off the heat immediately.
  2. Allow the oil to cool a little, then stir in the chilli flakes.
  3. Transfer the chilli oil to a jar (something like a kilner jar), cover and leave to infuse for 3-4 days.
