  • 1 live 4 lb. lobster - dead will do if you have a squeamish nature
  • ½ lb. unsalted butter


Place a large knife in the back of the lobster's head. Plunge it quickly into the head and pull it back cutting the fish completely in half. The movements are purely reaction. The beast is dead! Remove the dark sac from the head.
