  • pancakes, as required
  • chopped peaches
  • butter to fry
  • dash orange squash
  • brandy

Method

The sensible gastronaut already has pancakes made up and carefully frozen. So get them out of the freezer and defrost a few.

Chop up some peaches and put a little on each pancake. Fold the pancakes like envelopes or little parcels and set to fry gently in melted butter. Add a dash of orange squash, turn up the heat and as the liquid starts to reduce pour in some brandy and flame
