Ingredients

  • 1 small onion, halved
  • ½ green bell pepper or chili pepper, cored and seeded
  • 1 ripe tomato, quartere

Method

Steel Blade: Process onion and pepper until minced, about 6 seconds. Add tomato and process a few seconds longer. Add remaining ingredients and process until smooth, 20 to 30 seconds, scraping down bowl as necessary. (Or for a chunkier version, process with several quick on/offs, until desired texture is reached.)

Transfer to a serving bowl, cover tightly with plastic wrap, press
