Ingredients

  • 3 or 4 green onions, cut in 2-inch lengths
  • 1 cup light cream cheese or pressed cottage cheese, cut in chunks
  • 1 to 2

Method

Steel Blade: Drop green onions through feed tube while machine is running; process until minced. Add cheese and process until smooth. If necessary, add milk to soften. Add lox and process with 3 or 4 quick on/offs, just until mixed (or let machine run to blend thoroughly, making the mixture a pale salmon color). Chill and serve with bagels, pumpernickel bread, pita or assorted crackers.<
