These meatballs can also be made with ground veal, chicken, turkey or vegetarian meat substitute.
Steel Blade: Process garlic and onion until minced. Combine with ground meat in a large mixing bowl. Add egg, crumbs or matzo meal, salt and pepper; mix lightly.
Steel Blade: Process chili or barbecue sauce, grape jelly and lemon juice until mixed, 6 to 8 seconds. Transfer to a large saucepan and bring to a simmer. (If desired, mix 2 or 3 Tbsp sauce into meat mixture.)
