Combine water, tomatoes, tomato paste and tomato sauce in large soup pot and bring to a boil.
Slicer: Slice onion using light pressure. Cut cabbage in wedges to fit feed tube. Discard core. Slice using very light pressure. Add to soup along with remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer for 1½ to 2 hours. Adjust seasonings to taste.
