Grater: Cut celery, potato, carrots and onion to fit feed tube. Grate using medium pressure. Place in a large saucepan with water or broth, barley, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer, partially covered, for 1½ hours. Add peas and simmer 10 to 15 minutes longer. Adjust seasonings to taste. Add margarine and cooked Matzo Balls.
