Serve these cheese-filled crispy baked dumplings with sour cream or yogurt and berries.

Ingredients

Dough

  • ½ cup butter or margarine, cut in chunks
  • 2 Tbsp sugar
  • 2

Method

For dough: Use the steel blade. Process butter or margarine, sugar and eggs for 2 minutes, scraping down sides of bowl once or twice. Add flour, baking powder and milk and process 8 to 10 seconds longer, just until mixed. Do not overprocess. Remove from bowl and wrap well to prevent dough from drying out.

For filling: Process cheese, egg, lemon juice and sugar for 10 to 15 second
