This is one of my favorite meals, but I’ve lightened it considerably by using leaner cuts of meat and a nonstick skillet.
For meat mixture: Process garlic and onion on the steel blade until minced, 8 to 10 seconds. Add egg whites and process 2 to 3 seconds longer. Combine with remaining ingredients except oil in large mixing bowl; mix lightly to blend. Form into 10 burgers about ½ inch thick.
Heat oil in large nonstick skillet or electric skillet. Cook burgers about 5 minutes on each side, until browned. T
