  • About

My children loved this casserole when they were little, but they had trouble pronouncing the name—they thought the p was a t. If you have less time, make it in the microwave.

Ingredients

  • 2 medium onions
  • 2 potatoes
  • salt, freshly ground black pepper, garlic powder and paprika to taste

Method

Slicer: Cut onions and potatoes to fit feed tube. Slice, using medium pressure. Layer in sprayed, 2-quart round glass baking dish. Sprinkle lightly with salt, pepper, garlic and paprika. Spread ground meat evenly over potatoes; season lightly. Top with rice.

Slice celery and carrots, using medium pressure. Spread over rice; season once again. Pour broth over casserole.
