Panko crumbs are Japanese-style bread crumbs, and they’re so simple to make yourself. If there are nut allergies in your family, just omit the nuts and increase crumbs to 1¼ cups.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup almonds or pecans
  • ¾ cup Panko crumbs or dried bread crumbs

Method

Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Steel Blade: Process nuts, Panko crumbs and parsley with seasonings to form fine crumbs, 25 to 30 seconds. Transfer to a flat plate or plastic bag.
