This is a wonderful bread to serve at Thanksgiving.

Ingredients

  • Challah dough
  • 1 cup dried cranberries or raisins
  • 1 egg yolk mixed with

Method

(If you use the Double Recipe for Large Processors, use half of the dough to make this bread.) Remove dough from processor, knead in cranberries or raisins by hand, adding ⅓ cup at a time.

Transfer dough to large greased bowl, turning dough to grease all surfaces. Cover bowl with plastic wrap and let dough rise until doubled.

Shape as directed.
