This is a very heavy batter, so you need to use a processor with a strong motor to handle the kneading.

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup warm water (105°F to 115°F)

Method

In a measuring cup, dissolve 1 tsp sugar in ¼ cup warm water. Sprinkle yeast over-top and let stand for 8 to 10 minutes, until foamy. Stir to dissolve.

Steel Blade or Dough Blade: (Use dough cycle if your machine has one.) Place remaining ingredients except flour in processor bowl. Process with a few quick on/off pulses to mix. Let stand until cool. Add yeast mixture plus 1 cup o
