An old-time Winnipeg favorite. This was the cake I had for my birthday parties when I was a little girl. Too bad a genie can’t make the calories magically disappear!

Ingredients

Base

  • cup soft shortening or tub margarine

Method

Preheat oven to 350°F. Use steel blade to process all ingredients.
