An elegant and easy frozen dessert.
Steel Blade: Process almonds until fine, about 20 seconds. Empty into a bowl. Process macaroons for 6 to 8 seconds to make crumbs. Add to almonds. Set aside about ⅓ cup almond/macaroon mixture as garnish. Add ¾ cup of whipping cream and rum or sherry to remaining almonds and macaroons; stir to moisten.
