Steel Blade: Chop nuts with several quick on/off pulses. Empty bowl. Process egg, brown sugar and cocoa for a few seconds, until mixed. Melt butter in a heavybottomed saucepan. Add chocolate mixture to saucepan. Cook on medium heat, stirring constantly, just until thickened, like custard. Do not boil or mixture will curdle. Stir in vanilla extract.
