These scrumptious squares with their shortbread crust will “shortly” disappear!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter or tub margarine, cut in chunks
  • cups flour

Method

Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a 9- × 13-inch baking pan with nonstick spray.

For base: Using steel blade, process butter, flour, brown sugar and pecans until crumbly, about 20 seconds. Reserve 1½ cups crumb mixture for topping. Press remaining mixture evenly into prepared pan. <
