This kugel becomes gluten-free if made with ground almonds instead of matzo meal.
Grater: Cut carrots to fit feed tube horizontally. Grate, using firm pressure. Measure 2 cups firmly packed. Empty into large mixing bowl. Grate apples, using medium pressure. Measure 1 cup firmly packed. Add to carrots.
