This is an easy recipe and makes a perfect light lunch with any gravy-based meat dish or with plain yogurt. To make it more festive, use basmati rice, which will give it a special touch. If fresh peas are not available, frozen peas are a good substitute. A typical festive Nepali meal always includes pulaau, most common ones are made from meat or mixed vegetables.
