This recipe is made with radishes and small Nepali field peas, known as saano keraau. Field peas are similar to common garden peas, except the pods are much narrower and longer, and the peas are green-gray in color and slightly larger than peppercorns. This achaar is a tangy accompaniment to a heavily spiced Nepali meal. Be sure to store this achaar in an airtight container.
