Laddus are traditional sweet, round balls that can be made from any type of flour such as chickpea, wheat, semolina, or a blend of these. No Nepali festivals are complete without laddus. In the morning hours, many devotees head to temples with a small tray of laddus to offer to deities and later distribute as blessed sweets. It is a popular confection, eaten any time of the day with various beverages.
