Masalaa ko chiya is a sweet milky tea prepared with an aromatic blend of fresh whole spices. The whole spices are gently boiled with loose tea leaves so that they swell and double in size and subtly release their flavor into the tea. The tea is refreshing, mildly spicy and has a soothing effect after a long hard day. This recipe is for those who do not like ground spice mixtures in their tea and the best way to enjoy it is serving it steaming hot and sipping slowly.
