Mohi is an old-fashioned drink, prepared from the liquid leftover after churning butter. I remember drinking it at my husband’s maternal grandparents’ home in Dhading, Nepal, where a meal without yogurt and mohi is unthinkable. A tall glass was always served to visitors as a gesture of hospitality. This is my version of mohi prepared from ready-made cultured buttermilk.
