Method

  1. Wash and peel the apples (keep them whole and do not remove the stems), core the apples from the bottom, and then place the cored apples in a large container of water with 2 tablespoons vinegar. Drain when ready to cook.
  2. Place the apples in a laminated pot. Cover with 2 cups water. Bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to medium and simmer for about 5 minutes until
