This excellent yogurt drink is particularly good for travelers because yogurt has cleansing powers and can help heal intestinal infections. In Iran it is the favorite drink to have with Chelow Kabab.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup/240 ml whole milk yogurt, well beaten
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh mint

Method

  1. Pour yogurt, mint, salt, and pepper into a pitcher. Stir well.
  2. Gradually add club soda, stirring constantly. Add 3 or 4 ice cubes and the lime juice, and stir well.
  3. Serve chilled. Nush-e Jan!
