Method

  1. Clean and wash the lentils. Soak in 6 cups water and 1 teaspoon salt overnight, or boil for 10 minutes.
  2. Drain the lentils and dry completely by spreading on paper towels overnight.
  3. In a deep frying pan, heat the oil over high heat of 375°F (180°C). Add 1 teaspoon salt.
  4. Place the lentils in the frying pan and cook for a few minutes until indi
