This is a one-pot dish that is rich, nourishing and delicious. In Lithuania this soup is made with leftover pork and sauerkraut, but it works superbly well using pork ribs cooked until the meat falls off the bone. You can add any other meat you have, as well as some smoked sausage for added flavour. Use homemade sauerkraut for the most satisfying results. The rich and smoky beef flavour makes this dish the perfect recipe for meat-lovers.
