Didzkukuliai, or Zeppelins, are the most famous Lithuanian dumpling, named after the airship balloons built by Ferdinand von Zeppelin. Absolutely delicious as well as filling, they are made from potatoes with a pork and herb filling, served topped with crispy bacon and sour cream. Traditionally they were served to guests, or eaten before heavy physical work, but now they are enjoyed by everyone and appear on all restaurant menus.
