This is a simple and easy recipe to use with cod or any other fish that is available. Strips of breadcrumbed fish are quickly fried, then baked with a sour cream, dill, mustard and cheese topping. Simple, quick and full of flavour, it just needs a salad and new potatoes to serve.

Ingredients

  • 20 g/¾ oz/ tbsp butter

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C/400°F/Gas 6. Melt the butter in a large frying pan over a medium heat.
  2. Put the flour on a plate and roll the fish strips in it to coat them evenly. Drop the fish into the melted butter. Season to taste and cook for 2-3 minutes
