A Spanish Christmas would be unthinkable without the odd bar of turrón, the delicious Moorish confection of almonds, honey and egg whites. There’s the tooth-shattering Alicante style that resembles French wpwgaf and the soft Jijona turrón that’s more similar to Middle Eastern halva. I just can’t get enough of the stuff.
