Beer-Battered Artichoke Hearts

Method

For the Batter

  1. Whisk equal parts beer & flour
  2. ½ c each (120 ml; 60 g) (enough batter for a 6-8 oz. (170-255 g) jar of drained marinated artichoke hearts)
  3. Dip artichoke hearts in the batter (Coat Evenly)
  4. Fry in 1 inch of preheated olive oil on med./high until golden
  5. About 1 min.
  6. Use a nonstick pan
  7. Drain on a paper towel
  8. Sprinkle with smoked paprika & sea salt & enjoy warm (with a beer)
