Method

  1. Cut the white part of 1 leek into ¼-inch circles
  2. 1 beaten egg
  3. ½ c bread crumbs (60g)
  4. Dip each leek round into egg first, then bread crumbs
  5. Fry in olive oil until golden
  6. Nonstick pan
  7. About 1 min each side
  8. Medium heat
  9. Drain on paper towels then salt & serve with a dip
