Cream Cheese-Filled Parmesan Poppers



For the Dough

  • Beat 3 egg whites to stiff peaks
  • Then fold in:
  • c(150 g) grated Parmesan
  • ¼ t cayenne


  1. Flatten 1 T of the dough in your palm
  2. Put 1 t of cream cheese in the center of the dough
  3. Fold up edges to form a ball, pinch closed
  4. Heat 2 inches veg. oil on med/high in a nonstick pan
  5. Fry, turning once, until golden & puffy (1 min.)
  6. Remove & drain on a paper towel
  7. Enjoy Immediately While Warm
