In Spain, this warm-weather drink is typically an even mix of red table wine and lemon soda (like Fanta) with a lemon slice for garnish. It is similar to sangria, but more basic with less fruit. My version is a little lighter, using an unsweetened lemon-flavored seltzer, but it goes down just as easily. Any red wine will do, but I prefer something full-bodied, like Tempranillo.
