On a baking sheet

  • 2 heads broccoli - broken into florets
  • 1 large red onion - sliced into medium pieces
  • olive oil - drizzle generously over all (at least 2 T)
  • red pepper flakes - sprinkle a couple pinches (about ¼ t)
  • garlic - sprinkle 2 minced cloves
  • salt & pepper - sprinkle a few pinches, to taste


BAKE AT 425°F (220°C) FOR 25 MIN, tossing once, until some edges are blackened & crispy. Enjoy right away as the florets lose crispiness as they cool.
