It’s just banana!

We went to a restaurant in southern Portugal that served several types of mousse for dessert, one of which was banana. This icy version is a popular American dessert lately that reminds me of the mousse we tasted there. It couldn’t be simpler! Plus you can be creative with additions or add nothing at all and it’s still delicious.

  1. Peel & cut 4 ripe bananas into pieces & freeze.
  2. Pulse the frozen banana pieces in a food processor, stopping & stirring several times, then blending, until very creamy.
  3. Serve immediately before it starts to melt.

Optional ideas for ingredients to pulse, stir in, or sprinkle on top:

chocolate chips

coconut flakes
