  • About

This drink is inspired by my Caribbean roots. During the holidays, the leaves of a plant similar to hibiscus are steeped and sweetened to make a popular seasonal drink called sorrel, with spicy ginger added to the mix to cut the tartness.

Ingredients

  • 4 oz [120 ml] hibiscus tea, freshly brewed
  • 2 oz [60

Method

In a lowball glass with ice, add the hibiscus tea, ginger beer, and honey syrup. Stir to combine and garnish with candied ginger, if desired.
