This tart packs a real punch of autumnal flavours. I love the sweet flavour of the chestnut mushrooms, but use any type that you like or have foraged for all which work with the smokiness from the garlic. The rye flour pastry has a richness to it, from using the combination of wholemeal and white flour, enhanced by the smokiness of the garlic and the earthiness of the chestnuts, a real winning combination to impress at a lunch or supper party.
