Date, Pecan & Tahini Cake with Sticky Date Sauce

This Middle Eastern version of a sticky toffee pudding was adapted from a recipe by the 2005 Masterchef Winner, Thomasina Miers, using spelt flour and warm spices. Her love of strong flavours sing out in all her dishes and this moreish dessert is no exception.
