  1. Lightly grease the tart pan with butter.
  2. On a lightly floured surface, roll the pastry dough very thinly into a large circle. Line it into the tart pan, then chill for at least 1 hour.
  3. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C/Gas Mark 6)
