To prepare the puff pastry bases, roll the pastry dough on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle measuring 9½ × 14 in. (24 × 35 cm). Prick the dough all over with a fork.
Cut into 2 rectangles measuring 3¼ × 14 in. (9 × 35 cm) and 4 long strips each measuring ¾ in. × 14 in. (1.5 × 35 cm).
