Method

  1. Wash and dry the fruit. Prepare as necessary by peeling and/or removing pits.
  2. To prepare the syrup, combine the water, sugar, and vanilla bean in a saucepan. Heat gently until the sugar dissolves. Increase the heat and bring to a boil, stirring often.
